You may want to visit some local stores during your time in Charlotte to take advantage of this opportunity! | FOR HARRY POTTER FANSThe American Library Associations’s Listening Library announced The Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County (PLCMC) as the winner of a national contest bringing Grammy Award-winning narrator Jim Dale to a public library this summer. Jim Dale is the narrator of all the Harry Potter audio books and holds a Guinness World Record for having created and recorded 134 different character voices for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. He will appear at PLCMC on August 4th, 2007. Unfortunately, you'll miss out on the afternoon events because you'll be attending our wedding. But you may be able to catch the morning events - stay tuned!
